Debra A. Szostak, MD

Dr. Debra Szostak knew from an early age that she wanted to be a doctor. At the age of five, her father tragically passed away due to complications from mumps. That traumatic event led her to her healthcare career and nearly 30 years serving the Statesville community.
Dr. Szostak earned her medical degree from the Nicolas Copernicus Medical Academy, Cracow, Poland, and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Staten Island, NY. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians.
